Adventures in Organization

Good morning blogland! I've recently been perusing through all the awesome blogs out there written by other busy stay at home moms, trying to find tips and tricks on keeping my house clean and in order. I have found some great ideas and have been trying to put them in play in my own home. Well, guess what I found out? It's hard. Well, at least it's hard for my lazy, procrastinating, wishes someone else would just come and do it for me, easily distracted self. I have spent the last 2 weeks cleaning and organizing each room in the house, but if you were to look at it right now you would never know it. The kids' playroom gets trashed within minutes of getting it straightened, the toys leak into the living room, and I start finding socks and shoes in strange places. AAAARRRRGGGG!!!! (think Charlie Brown). On the plus side, I think I've gotten my kitchen and laundry room under control and keeping up with 6 bodies worth of laundry has gotten a little easier. And I got this done!

Abby's Easter dress, or maybe her birthday dress, I haven't decided yet. Isn't it cute?!
